Get ready to wander through the whimsical Halloween Light Trail at WWT Slimbridge, where the after-dark scenery gets a spooky upgrade. Stroll past eerie displays featuring our friend the Marsh Witch, a gaggle of pumpkins, some lost shipwrecks, and a few scarecrows who probably wish they could take a vacation. Don't forget to duck from the bats and keep an eye out for broomsticks—who knows who's flying around. If you're feeling crafty, swing by the arts and crafts area to unleash your inner Picasso, or toss a few wishes into the pond zone. And what's Halloween without some marshmallow toasting by the fire?

The festivities kick off on the 11th and 12th of October, and then again during Half Term from October 25 to November 3, with time slots from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, including some sensory sessions on chosen dates. Admission is £14.50 for adults and £12.50 for kids, while the under-4s can sneak in for free—lucky them. And just in case you're wondering, everyone pays the same ticket price whether you're a WWT member or not, so no need to argue about who gets a better deal.
