I just don't know where to start

Hi mums, my 2.5-year-old son's family daycare teacher suspects my son may have a mild form of autism. She said she notices some signs and while it's not so obvious she thinks it's a good idea to get him assessed. From my perspective, I think his speech is quite slow, he hates anything out of routine, he insists on reading the same book every day and only plays with certain toys over and over, he has never been a good sleeper (still wakes up 2-3 during the night and is up at 4 am each morning), etc but his social skills are good. Anyway, I am not sure where to start. Do I take him to the GP and then the paediatrician? Or is it better to see a child psychologist assess him? Many thanks, I would appreciate any suggestions, advice, or experience you may have in this area. Thank you.
