This Christmas, pack your bags for a time-traveling adventure at Longleat's Festival of Light. Imagine wandering through a magical wonderland where every corner boasts more dazzling lanterns than you can count—because who doesn't love a little extra twinkle in their life? You'll kick things off with a Winter Safari, which sounds much fancier than your average stroll. Once it gets dark, prepare to be amazed as the whole place lights up like it's auditioning for a spot on the holiday sweet list.

As you explore, keep your eyes peeled for scenes straight out of history: the Ice Age, Viking shenanigans, and some seriously impressive ancient dynasties. The highlight reel includes a massive 15-metre Enchanted Christmas Tree that really knows how to put on a show, not to mention the Santa Train, which is probably more reliable than the one you had to catch last year. Plus, the stunning Longleat House has its own light display, which is a reminder that it's been spreading festive cheer for 75 years. It's the perfect backdrop for creating those festive memories you'll probably forget by New Year's, so make sure to snap a few photos while you can.
